Job summary

PureStar in Denver, CO is seeking a delivery/warehouse associate to load and unload laundry carts from tractor-trailer equipment and to manage receipts and routes. The role requires bilingual ability, basic math, and the ability to lift heavy loads; CDL is not required but helpful.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual language skills for completion of receiving and shipping documents.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition and subtraction) to record counts.
• Ability to safely operate freight elevator and truck lifts.
• Basic ability to comprehend English to understand verbal instructions and communicate with clients.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, carry, push, or pull heavy loads and stand for long periods; may lift bundles up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull wheeled carts up to 800 lbs.
• Ability to load/unload a tractor-trailer and secure its contents.
• Non CDL position.
• A valid Class C Commercial driver's license (not necessary, but helpful) and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains record of delivery times, mileage, and quantities and gets accounts to sign off on all shipments.
• Communicates with Laundry manager to coordinate delivery routes and times and follows them.
• Performs routine maintenance checks on trucks and related equipment to ensure full working order.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and surrounding areas.
• Bi-lingual language skills are valued and utilized as needed.

• Marks in clear English any soiled linen or laundry that is received by any customers. Ensure that the laundry is properly stored and secured by account to eliminate and damage to any materials transported.


• Maintain record of delivery times, mileage, and quantities and gets accounts sign off on all shipments


• Communicates with Laundry manager to delivery routes and times and follows them without fail


• Makes routine maintenance checks on trucks and related equipment to ensure that they are in full working order


• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding areas

Work Experience Requirements

• Ability to load and unload a tractor -trailer and secure its contents

Education Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.


• Previous experience in driving Laundry/Valet a plus


• Understanding of English and Spanish language, both written and verbal.
