Job summary

ACCEL Schools is hiring a Kindergarten Teacher for Columbus Bilingual Central in Columbus, Ohio, focused on delivering engaging instruction and fostering a positive classroom climate to support social-emotional growth.

Open Fall 2025, the campus promotes bilingualism within a strong PBIS framework and uses the Blitz model to empower students to reach their potential. ACCEL Schools serves PK-12 nationwide since 2014.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in urban environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice to support learning.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
