Qualifications

• Education/certification options listed to qualify for teaching Elementary Generalist or related areas.
• Bachelor’s degree with passing score on ExCET/TExES or in Elementary Education or related major.
• Experience in classical education or traditional teaching methods preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons using classical traditional methods.
• Assign and correct classwork and homework promptly.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and communicate progress to parents.
• Provide academic interventions for struggling students.
• Maintain grades and parent communication via school tools.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with Special Education and 504 teachers for accommodations.
• Participate in faculty meetings and professional development.
• Support marketing and student recruiting activities.
