Job description

Our client, an international brokerage firm, is seeking an Assistant Planning & Project Manager.

Description:

  1. Support the implementation of various special projects, including preparing presentation materials in Japanese and English, organizing and tracking the development of project documentation, and assisting the Head of CEO Office in the presentation of such materials to Tokyo HQ.
  2. Manage and assist with the coordination of time-sensitive committee meetings and agendas in collaboration with Front Office and Finance Department Senior Management.
  3. Assist with the planning and preparation of firm-wide employee communications on behalf of the CEO Office, Board of Directors, and Tokyo HQ.
  4. Act as a supporting liaison.
  5. Offer administrative support to the Head of CEO Office as well as the Chairman and CEO/President.
  6. Communicate and share knowledge of all open projects with other CEO Office staff.

Requirements:

  1. Native Japanese w/ business level English required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience supporting internal management in the financial services industry.
  3. Possesses basic knowledge about financial institution operations and understands the corporate culture.
  4. Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to anticipate and accommodate the ongoing needs of Senior Management across multiple departments and Tokyo HQ.
  6. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  7. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
