Pay Rate Depends on Experience and Capabilities

Part-Time hours are typically from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm but vary throughout the week, working up to 30 hours a week. Primarily 2nd shift.

We are seeking a Janitorial Compliance Night Manager to join our team! The Night Manager is responsible for assisting with management of contract compliance for designated building maintenance services, as well as maintaining the relationship between City Wide and Independent Contractors. Employee must possess the ability to review the client contract and verify work expectations have been met.

Essential functions

  • Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
  • Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
  • Communicate with Facility Services Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone message.
  • Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines, and discharge if not meeting service level agreements.
  • Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatments needing attention.
  • Execute City Wide’s policies, including the New-Start Policy, Customer Complaint Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment, and their proper use.
  • Other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required or equivalent experience in the commercial janitorial services industry.
  • 3 years of prior management experience, including coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team across multiple units or locations.
  • 3-5 years of janitorial/building maintenance experience.
  • Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus!
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to perform cleaning duties when needed.
  • CRM experience.

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of the requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
