Responsibilities

• Lead and support frontline employees and supervisors; foster engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
• Coach and mentor staff to drive performance and compliance with ABM and client policies.
• Assist in hiring/onboarding; conduct evaluations with HR.
• Serve as primary contact for clients; maintain strong relationships with property management teams.
• Ensure services meet/exceed contract terms; address client feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
• Identify growth opportunities to increase billable work.
• Oversee daily operations of facility services, including janitorial, parking, and maintenance as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with ABM processes, safety standards, and quality programs.
• Conduct time studies/site inspections and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Coordinate special projects and support new process/tech implementations.
• Prepare and review operational and financial reports, budgets, and payroll records.
• Identify cost-saving initiatives and assist vendor/contractor management.
• Develop employee training programs focused on safety, operations, and customer service.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Administer disciplinary actions per company guidelines.

Position Summary: The Bilingual Janitorial Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at assigned facilities (campus, warehouse, office building or airport), ensuring service excellence, staff development, operational efficiency, and strong client relationships. This role serves as the primary liaison between ABM and client partners, delivering high-quality services in alignment with contract requirements while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Pay: $22.50 per hour.
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Schedule: Friday - Tuesday 2PM-10PM

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required

• 2-3 years of experience in facility, operations, or project management with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.


• Strong customer service, leadership, and interpersonal skills.


• Solid business acumen including budget oversight and cost control.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related technologies.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and respond to urgent client needs, including occasional evening/weekend hours.

Preferred

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• Experience working in union environments.


• Familiarity with different systems required.
