Qualifications

• Rates are negotiable.
• Fluent in both English and target language.
• Certified or prepared to be tested in interpreted language.
• Livescan and background checks required.
• HIPAA and cultural sensitivity trainings expected.
• Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards.
• Comfortable with consecutive interpretation; simultaneous a plus.
• Strong passion for interpreting and customer service.
• Ability to interpret in medical, business, and education settings.
• Experience with face-to-face and remote interpreting.
