Lancesoft seeks a bilingual Chinese-speaking Internal Medicine / Family Medicine physician to join a New York practice, providing comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population. English and Chinese communication is essential. Applicants should hold an MD or DO, have completed a residency in Internal or Family Medicine, and be board-certified or board-eligible

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency completed in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese may align with patient population).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, routine health assessments, and preventive care visits.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases).
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on medical histories and clinical findings.
• Provide preventive care, screenings, vaccinations, and wellness counseling.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness with adjustments as needed.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, medication adherence, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate diagnoses, options, and follow-up instructions in English and Chinese.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.
