Job summary

Tahoe Truckee Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant - Bilingual to support teaching staff in the supervision and instruction of students in the Truckee River Program.

Responsibilities include aiding English language assessment, administering tests, and handling classroom clerical tasks, with a focus on supporting Spanish-speaking students and staff. Must meet TTUSD requirements and pass a paraeducator exam or provide college credits.

Qualifications

• Must pass TTUSD Paraeducator Exam or provide Proof of AA degree/48 college semester units (Required Upon Job Offer)
• Proof of HS Graduation (Or proof of college degree)

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching personnel in supervising and instructing students
• Perform classroom clerical tasks in support of instruction
• Assist in assessing students’ English language acquisition and administering tests
• Serve as a resource to staff requiring assistance with Spanish-speaking persons
