Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a bilingual SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in clients' homes or daytime facilities in Texas. License must be current and full-time clinical experience is required, with pediatrics and home health experience preferred.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, follow Texas board guidelines for supervision, and pursue professional development to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
