Sanabria & Associates, PLLC in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a bilingual EOIR Paralegal to support attorneys handling immigration matters before EOIR and BIA. The role manages a high-volume caseload, coordinates case preparation, drafts documents, and ensures deadlines and procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, has 1–3 years of immigration law experience, and familiarity with EOIR ECAS and case management software.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 1–3 years immigration law experience preferred.
• Experience with EOIR proceedings and EOIR ECAS strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing removal defense filings and supporting documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume EOIR caseload from assignment through case completion.
• Prepare and file immigration court applications, motions, briefs, appeals, and supporting documentation.
• Assist attorneys with removal defense matters including asylum, cancellations, adjustments, waivers, and BIA appeals.
• Draft legal correspondence, declarations, affidavits, motions, and other case documents.
• Coordinate case strategy with attorneys and prepare clients for hearings.
• Communicate with clients regarding case updates, hearings, and filing requirements.
