La Raza Community Resource Center (La Raza CRC) in San Francisco seeks an Entry Immigration Paralegal to support four immigration attorneys. You will help with intake, document preparation, translations, and court filings, while maintaining confidentiality and client-service orientation.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team. This entry-level role emphasizes administrative duties and potential accreditation path.

Qualifications

• The California Business and Professions Code, Section6450 (c) requires one of several paralegal qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal and informal education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Interview potential clients for consultation intake.
• Organize, analyze, and prepare documents, forms, evidence, and declarations for applications and court filings.
• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Manage program calendar and client appointments, including reminders and hearings.
• Translate documents between English and Spanish and input data into case management system.
• Maintain client confidentiality and assist with reports for leadership.
• Support legal clinics and community events, including occasional Saturdays.
