Job summary

Jan De Nul is seeking an HSE Advisor to implement and monitor safety policy on major civil projects in the Feluy region. You will work closely with site management, perform risk analyses, and ensure compliance with safety rules.

You will conduct site tours, lead toolbox talks, prepare HSE plans, train sessions, investigate incidents, and support audits. Fluent English and French, Level 2 safety advisor certification, and 5 years' experience required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 safety advisor certification.
• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in construction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and project progress through risk analyses and safety inspections.
• Consult with site and project management and engage foremen, workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare reports and develop safety procedures and toolbox meetings.
• Prepare project-specific documents (HSE implementation plan, emergency plan, inspection and testing plan).
• Help organize safety training sessions.
• Observe and analyze safety issues on site and log them; follow up on incidents.
• Investigate accidents and track safety modifications to prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate QHSSE audits and inspections.
