Job summary

Sunpro is seeking a Human Resource Specialist in Spanish Fork, UT to support recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations. The role handles day-to-day HR needs with discretion and contributes to improving the employee experience.

The position requires bilingual capability in Spanish and English and a strong knowledge of HR regulations. The candidate will work with leaders who invest in their team, ensuring compliance and delivering HR data insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
• Two or more years of HR experience
• HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred
• Ability to conduct all HR business conversations in Spanish and English Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
• Proactively anticipate organizational needs and provide effective HR solutions
• Support recruiting activities, onboarding, and interviews with hiring managers
• Drive onboarding including background checks, 1-9s, E-verify, etc., and conduct orientation
• Advise employees and managers on policies and procedures
• Resolve routine employee relations questions and escalate complex matters
• Process employee changes and maintain records per legal requirements
• Support FMLA and leave administration and respond to verifications/unemployment requests
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Analyze HR data and prepare reports to support decisions
• Contribute to HR process improvements and project work
• Perform other duties as assigned
