Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field with 2–4 years HR Generalist experience.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Experience handling employee relations, training, onboarding and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
• Partner with training to arrange training needs for employee and manager development.
• Coaches managers with employee relations issues in line with SBM and CBA policies.
• Drive engagement through site management training and engagement strategies.
• Drafts and maintains records of personnel transactions for government reporting.
• Support wage reviews and ensure pay changes stay within ranges.
• Provide guidance around performance management (Discipline, PIPs, CAPs).
• Investigate employee relations issues and grievances; participate in hearings.
