Job summary

Dependable Hospice in Nogales, AZ is seeking a compassionate bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team on a part-time basis. You will provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes across Nogales and surrounding Southern Arizona areas.

We require a current Arizona RN license and fluency in English and Spanish. This role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, 401(k), and works with a supportive interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort and quality of life for patients

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• CPR certification and TB clearance as required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled hospice nursing care in patients' homes
• Assess patient needs and monitor condition changes
• Develop and update plans of care focused on comfort and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary hospice team and maintain documentation

Dependable Hospice is seeking a compassionate Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team on a part-time basis, serving patients and families throughout Nogales and the surrounding Southern Arizona area.

Your Role

• Provide skilled and compassionate hospice nursing care in patients' homes

• Assess patient needs and monitor changes in condition

• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care focused on comfort and dignity

• Provide pain and symptom management in collaboration with physicians and the hospice care team

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families throughout the hospice journey

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with both English- and Spanish-speaking patients and families

• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team, including physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Participate in care coordination and other responsibilities based on patient and team needs

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

• Hospice, palliative care, home health, or related nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working independently in patients' homes

• Commitment to providing culturally responsive, patient-centered care

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Current CPR certification

• Current TB clearance as required

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable transportation and active auto insurance

• Ability to travel throughout the Nogales and surrounding service area
