Qualifications

• Must possess the skill to understand the needs of high school students and to relate to them in a learning and recreational situation.
• Must learn requirements of students in specific learning programs and analyze situations to act effectively.
• Establish and maintain accurate classroom records and files and operate standard office equipment.
• Must pass bilingual certification test in SPANISH; understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in instruction, supervision and training of students by performing instructional support and student care activities.
• Provide a high degree of positive contact with students and certificated staff.
• Maintain and prepare learning environments and related support services.
