Job summary

Fiesta Mart is seeking a Grocery Clerk at the Rosenberg location to provide friendly, courteous service, assist customers, and maintain clean displays. The role requires ability to lift heavy loads and work nights and weekends in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Under direct supervision, you will rotate self-serve displays, help customers, and support store operations with reliability and a strong work ethic. Bilingual Spanish/English communication is advantageous for serving diverse customers.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service.
• Assist customers, clean display cases and shelves.
• Clean, fill and rotate the self-serve displays.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Perform heavy lifting and bending as required.
