Job summary

ABM Industries in Portland, OR is hiring a Recruiter for our Frontline Talent Acquisition Team. This is a hybrid role (in-office Mon-Thu) located at 11879 NE Glenn Widing Drive, Portland OR 97220, to support hiring primarily janitorial team members in the Pacific Northwest.

You will source and attract top talent, develop recruiting plans, and manage the full life cycle from presentation and selection to offer, negotiation, and onboarding, with emphasis on candidate experience and collaboration

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume recruiting or staffing capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; HS diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual ability English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract top talent for janitorial roles in the Pacific Northwest.
• Develop recruiting plans and use creative/non-traditional strategies.
• Manage full lifecycle: presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, onboarding.
• Coordinate background checks, scheduling, and candidate onboarding actions.
• Attend job fairs and publish recruiting materials; maintain candidate pipelines.
• Track leads and report recruitment metrics to improve strategy.
