5th HQ is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent for fresh produce in Sunrise, FL. You will manage sourcing, negotiate with growers and suppliers, and monitor inventory and pricing to support profitability.

Requires 3–5 years in fresh produce purchasing, bilingual English/Spanish, a business or logistics degree, strong Excel and ERP skills, and knowledge of FIFO and landed costs.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunrise with standard hours and occasional weekend flexibility.

Formación

• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken) required.
• 3–5 years purchasing/procurement experience in fresh produce or perishable foods.
• Minimum 2 years procurement management or equivalent responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics.
• Strong supplier negotiation, inventory control, and cost-management skills.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/purchasing software familiarity.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchasing and sourcing of fresh produce based on demand and inventory levels.
• Negotiate pricing and maintain relationships with growers, importers, exporters, and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory, product quality, seasonality, and market pricing.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate incoming shipments.
• Analyze purchasing costs, minimize waste, and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Quality Control, and Management.
