Responsibilities

• Inspection and Grading: Conduct visual inspections of vegetables to verify type, size, quality, and freshness, removing items that are damaged or defective.
• Packaging Operations: Sort and place approved produce into designated containers, ensuring secure packaging for transport.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the packing process, report discrepancies, and document findings.
• Labeling and Coding: Apply labels, barcodes, and expiration dates per specifications.
• Machinery Maintenance: Operate and perform basic maintenance on conveyor belts and packing systems.
• Inventory Control: Track packing supplies and verify quality/quantity of incoming produce and materials.
• Collaboration and Development: Assist in onboarding and training of new team members.
