Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Looking for Forklift Operator jobs in Houston where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.

Job Duties

• Material Handling: Safely loading/unloading goods from trailers, rail cars, or shipping containers.
• Warehouse Operations: Moving, stacking, and organizing large pallets, raw materials, or finished products in designated storage areas.
• Inventory Control: Utilizing radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment to track materials, record inventory movement, and verify shipments.
• Operate a sit down and stand up forklift

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Bilingual
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack, and organize palletized materials.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping documentation, and storage locations.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in busy warehouse and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and inventory while operating powered industrial vehicles.
