Job summary

Elite Food Safety Training is seeking a Bilingual Food Safety Instructor to teach ServSafe courses in English and Spanish, and to proctor the 2-hour exam for certification. This 1099 contract, part-time role offers flexible scheduling and compensation up to $35 per hour.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, both ServSafe Manager's and Instructor/Proctor certifications, and demonstrate excellent communication and teaching abilities. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe Manager's Certification is required.
• ServSafe Instructor/Proctor Certification is required after job offer.
• Knowledge of the food industry and safety practices.
• Training or teaching experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Fluent in English and Spanish to teach courses in Spanish.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible for travel.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach ServSafe material in a 6-hour class and proctor a 2-hour exam.
• Deliver additional training such as alcohol training or auditing services if interested.
