FlexXray in Aurora, Illinois seeks a Bilingual Food Inspection Line Lead (1st Shift) to supervise product inspections and ensure quality aligned with customer satisfaction. You will support the Plant Manager, verify equipment readiness, and coach operators on seed checks while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to processes, and clear communication in a bilingual environment. The position starts at $17.35 per hour and is located on-site in Aurora.

Responsabilités

• Participate in Line rotations as needed.
• Review the line instruction sheet for each project and communicate the run rules to their team before starting a project.
• Before beginning any project verify that equipment is clean and free of defects.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it meets the specifications for each project.
• Set up inspection equipment prior to running a project.
• Verify the labels and quantities of each pallet.
• Fill out all documentation required for each project.
• Safety – Ensure all employees are following FlexXray standards.
• Seed Checks – checking operators frequently and coaching, escalating as needed.
• Ensuring Seed Checks are completed timely to FlexXray standard.
• Temperature Monitoring – ensuring temperature monitoring is done consistently and correctly.
• Housekeeping and Working Conditions – owns the work area, escalates issues, maintains good control of tools/utensils/seeds/etc.
• Provide appropriate information to the plant leadership before, during, and after each project. Other duties assigned by the Plant Manager and Plant Supervisor.

The Senior Line Lead leads and monitors the progress of products being inspected on the assigned line, ensuring quality standards are met in alignment with continued customer satisfaction. Assisting the Plant Manager/Supervisor, including but not limited to the following duties below:

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, twist, grab, pull, push, reach, walk and sit.
