Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Float School Health Medical Associate to join our team, primarily in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient care, supporting staff, and performing necessary administrative tasks. Bilingual Spanish is a requirement for this role, ensuring effective communication.

In addition to a High School Diploma, candidates must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program and hold a BLS certification. Experience in ambulatory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care based on patients' physical and psychosocial needs.
• Perform venous phlebotomy and vital signs checks.
• Document data collected and care rendered.
• Provide translation services and coordinates supply requests.
