Job summary

The Retreat in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Bilingual Prevention Educator - Fatherhood to support the Long Island Fatherhood Initiative. You will lead curriculum-based workshops, work with probation/parole and family court involved families, and help improve parenting, relationships, and economic stability.

Responsibilities include intake, data entry, and delivering in-person or virtual sessions, with some evening/weekend commitments and travel across Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability in Spanish and English required or preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in social services, group presentations, or teaching is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate the 24/7 Dad curriculum in-person and virtual sessions.
• Provide information on domestic violence impact and child safety to participants.
• Support fathers in improving financial well-being using Money Management tools.
• Assist with enrollment, intake assessments, surveys, and welcome kit prep.
• Maintain client records in nFORM and other data platforms; support reporting.
