Bilingual Family Support Worker – Healthy Families

$36,000.00 - $40,500.00 per year

Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? The Villages is seeking dedicated individuals to provide family support services to new parents through the Healthy Families program.

The Bilingual Family Support Worker (BFSW) will:

  • Managing and provide client-centered, culturally competent services.
  • Initiate and maintain regular and long-term contact/support with families.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled home visits with a family-centered and strength-based approach.
  • Assist families in strengthening parent-child relationship, improving family support system, and establishing goals.
  • Increase family's ability to problem solve and assume the role of advocate for themselves and their children.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in English and Haitian Creole
  • Experience in working with or providing services to children and families.
  • Experience and willingness to work with the culturally diverse populations
  • Knowledge of infant and child development.
