Healthcare & Emergency Solutions is a boutique consulting firm specializing in culturally competent, equitable healthcare services for historically excluded communities. Our team of public health professionals and clinical experts manages state contracts and is seeking high-performing contractors to deliver services including: Behavior Aide (BA), Family/Children counseling, assessments, transportation, child supervision, and drug screening.

This is a 1099 Contractor role, offering flexible scheduling, case selection, and opportunity for increased compensation based on services. The position requires bilingual proficiency.

Role Overview

As a Bilingual Family Support Counselor, you will support families through challenges by providing counseling, psychosocial assessments, and trauma-focused therapy. Responsibilities include in-home support, behavioral services, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention for clients in acute distress.
• Support clients and families through challenging circumstances.
• Conduct problem-solving sessions and utilize therapeutic modalities like CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy.
• Perform intensive case management and in-home counseling to promote family stability and permanency.
• Assist with substance abuse education and develop coping skills.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, collaborate with other providers, and conduct assessments.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in human services, 3 years of experience, and bilingual proficiency. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT), and experience working with children or adults. Other requirements involve strong clinical skills, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle with insurance.
