Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a CSLP student worker for the St. Vincent de Paul partnership in Phoenix. The role supports dining room operations, registration, and documentation tasks while engaging families in community services.

You must be a current GCU student, bilingual in English/Spanish, with strong ethics and reliable transportation. Schedule: Mon–Fri, up to 20 hours per week during the academic year.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Enrolled at GCU as a full‑time student in a bachelor’s or master’s program.
• Maintain a 2.0 GPA (Bachelor level) or 3.0 GPA (Master level).
• Reliable transportation and dependable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome families, creating a friendly atmosphere.
• Build meaningful connections with families to support ongoing engagement.
• Participate in events, giveaways, raffles, bingo, and FEM/DC activities.
• Sort and prepare items for giveaways and special events.
• Collaborate with staff to improve program flow and family experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
