Job summary

The Tulsa Health Department is seeking a dedicated Navigation Supervisor to lead the Family Navigators and/or Family Liaisons within the Birth through Eight Strategy for Tulsa (BEST). This on-site role will manage a monthly caseload, supervise staff, and coordinate with ConnectFirst and other partners to connect families with prenatal, postpartum, and early childhood services.

Bachelor’s degree required in social work, public health or other closely related field.
Two years of administrative and clerical duties required.
2-3 years of experience in an administrative or consultative capacity in the health or social services field preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, as well as Salesforce and other related software systems.

Responsibilities

Direct and provide oversight of the daily activities for the Family Navigators and/or Family Liaisons.
Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and performance support to staff to enhance skills, accountability, and professional growth.
Conduct case reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with program standards, policies, and documentation requirements.
Monitor and maintain client tracking systems to support accurate reporting, service coordination, and program accountability.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with staff to provide guidance, address concerns, monitor performance, and support professional development.
Oversee employee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and leave management processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
Participate in staff meetings, leadership meetings, and quality assurance activities to support effective communication, collaboration, continuous improvement, and adherence to program goals, policies, and procedures.
