Job summary

Mission Graduates is seeking a Family Engagement Coordinator to support attendance and credit recovery for students in San Francisco’s Mission District. This role coordinates outreach services, events, and communications with families at school sites and in the community.

You will provide 1-on-1 family support, assist with parent events, and participate in planning with leadership and school staff. Bilingual Spanish/English is required; some evenings and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Latinx immigrant and/or parent communities.
• Strong independent worker with strategic analysis.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience delivering trainings/workshops for adults.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• CPR certification or attained within 2 months of employment.
• TB test clearance mandatory prior to hire.
• Some weekends and evenings required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, communicate, and coordinate with school staff and families to remove attendance barriers.
• Support parent events and recruit volunteers for programs.
• Contribute to professional development with school and after-school staff.
• Meet 1-on-1 with families to address technology, enrollment, and resource needs.
• Coordinate meetings, trainings, and family engagement activities.
