Access 2 Interpreters, LLC in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Zomi and/or Burmese Language Interpreter for face-to-face interpretation at medical, social service and other appointments.

As a contractor, you decide your own schedule and take as many assignments as you can. Most requests are during business hours, with 24/7/365 availability.

Using your bilingual skills to help those who speak your language is rewarding and offers flexible, local work with good pay.

Qualifications

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check based on fingerprints and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost to you).
• Provide proof of program completion from an accredited interpreter training of at least 40 hours (e.g. Bridging the Gap, Access 2 Interpreters' Access Academy, Court Interpretation, Certificate or Degree in interpretation from an accredited college or university).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or pay for and complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation through an accredited testing and evaluation organization.
