Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Services, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience teaching adult learners, high school equivalency programs, or youth education programs.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver ESOL lessons for beginner level.
• Teach reading, writing, listening, and speaking with a focus on real-life communication and workforce readiness.
• Differentiate instruction for multi-level classes (pre-literate to intermediate).
• Maintain attendance and progress records and other required documentation.
• Collaborate with program staff and instructors to address barriers to learning.
