Job summary

KIPP Chicago is seeking a dedicated Multilingual Learners Case Manager to support instructional goals for ML students across campuses. The role emphasizes ESL/bilingual instruction, Spanish-language support, and ensuring compliance with testing and program regulations.

You will work on on-site schools with a strong focus on antiracist, equity-centered practice. The position requires Illinois PEL with Bilingual/ESL endorsement, fluent Spanish, and prior lead classroom teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educators License with Bilingual and/or ESL endorsement.
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is required.
• Minimum two years of prior success as a lead classroom teacher is expected.
• Experience working with Multilingual Learner students is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESL/bilingual instruction with small groups to develop English proficiency.
• Provide translation or ML-related services as needed across campuses.
• Create differentiated lesson plans to build bilingual students’ English skills.
• Administer the ACCESS English proficiency test annually.
• Attend required ELPT trainings and collaborate with teachers on data-informed instruction.
• Maintain ML program compliance and parental communication.
