Job summary

BPC HOME SERVICE in Florida seeks an experienced roofing project coordinator to manage permits, scheduling, and project documentation. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish and strong knowledge of Florida Building Code, with responsibilities spanning from contract through completion to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for internal/external communications.
• Proven roofing industry experience is required.
• 2–3 years in roofing project coordination/administration or related roles preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Code and roofing requirements is essential.
• Experience with permitting departments and local jurisdictions in Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Tampa-area, and surrounding Florida municipalities.
• Ability to prepare, submit, track, and follow up on permits, inspections, and HOA applications.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel for project financials and reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a long-term commitment.
• Solar industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate roofing projects from contract through completion.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Field Managers to manage permits, inspections, scheduling, materials, crews, and follow-up.
• When a Project Manager is unavailable, take ownership and move projects forward within authority.
• Secure HOA approvals and handle other project requirements.
• Track progress, deadlines, expenses, payments, and supporting documents.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, permitting, documentation, and customer issues.
• Communicate with homeowners, suppliers, field staff, sales reps, and project contacts.
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Provide complete project documentation to the Project Auditor.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date project files and records.
• Follow through independently without constant reminders or supervision.

• Keep project systems, physical files, and digital records complete, accurate, and current.
• Follow through independently without constant reminders or supervision.

Compensation

• $50,000–$65,000/year (based on experience)
