We seek a Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: This role is full-time, 35 hours. Will be working Monday – Friday during pharmacy hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm (lunch is 12:00pm – 12:30pm).

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff.
  2. Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
  3. Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
  4. Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
  5. Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records.
  6. Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
  7. Perform various clerical duties relating to the department.
  8. Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
  10. May need to assist with occasional deliveries when needed; would use their own vehicle and would be reimbursed for mileage; deliveries are not to residences.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nebraska or the ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
  2. Intermediate level of typing ability.
  3. Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver’s license.
  4. Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  2. 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.

**PLEASE NOTE** The sign-on bonus is only available to external candidates. Candidates who are currently working for UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare or a related entity in a full time, part time or per diem basis ("Internal Candidates") are not eligible to receive a sign on bonus.

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
