Job summary

Linguava in the United States is seeking a Language Test Evaluator contractor to join our testing operations. You will interact with candidates in their native and target languages to assess interpreting skills using a web-based platform (Google Meet) and document results.

The role requires at least 3 years of interpreting experience, strong customer service, attention to detail, and reliability. Training and calibration sessions accompany ongoing testing work under independent contractor terms.

A Brief Overview

A Language Test Evaluator is an integral part of the recruiting process. They interact with the candidate in their native and target language to evaluate the candidates interpreting skills and language proficiency. The proficiency exam will be completed by web-based platform (Google Meet) to record and provide documentation for test results. The test will be evaluated according to a given scoring criteria; therefore, paid training will be conducted before starting the position. Evaluators must be able to accept and use the required scoring parameters and maintain consistent and reliable scoring throughout their assignment. Quarterly calibration sessions will be required to ensure consistent ratings for all candidates.
