Job summary

Linguava is seeking a Language Test Evaluator to join our independent contractor team. You will assess interpreting skills and language proficiency via a web-based platform (Google Meet).

Training will be provided, and you will maintain consistent scoring across candidates with quarterly calibration sessions. Applicants should have 3+ years of interpreting experience, excellent customer service, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional interpreting experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organized and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Must navigate the internet and record tests.
• Cultural background or knowledge of specific country or region.
• Testing experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform the test in a professional manner.
• Follow and adhere to scoring criteria.
• Enter complete data in the testing document and submit in a timely manner.
• Provide comments and concerns to the IR Manager.
• Collaborate with team members to review, edit and update testing materials.
• Attend quarterly calibration sessions.
