Job summary

La Causa, Inc. Charter School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks an Elementary School Teacher (K-4) for monolingual English or bilingual English/Spanish classrooms. You will plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to standards while building a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

You will use data to inform instruction, differentiate learning, and partner with families and staff to support student growth and success. Bilingual proficiency is required for bilingual roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or a closely related field is required.
• Wisconsin DPI license or eligibility for Emergency License is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency for bilingual positions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Common Core Standards and school curriculum.
• Differentiate learning using student data and maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, ESL staff, and administrators to support student achievement.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families and participate in meetings and PD.
• Support ELL students and apply best practices for English language learners.
• Fulfill mandated reporter responsibilities and maintain professional conduct.
