Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• AA degree or 48 semester credits or 72 quarter credits, or have passed WASST para pro.
• Dependable with experience working with children and adults; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in providing small group and individual instruction.
• Assist teaching personnel in all areas of their work.
• Correct daily work assignments of students.
• Operate equipment such as copy machines, video equipment, typewriters, computers, recorders.
• Assist individual students in teacher-monitored classrooms.
• Help monitor student objectives.
• Provide student safety.
• Maintain discipline as planned by the teacher.
• Meet PESB requirements for the Fundamental Course of Study.
