Job summary

The Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) is seeking an Elementary EL Resource Teacher to support English learners at Sanchez Elementary. Responsibilities include leading EL instruction, coordinating with BRS and MTSS teams, administering WIDA assessments, and supporting data-driven language growth across general education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Wisconsin DPI teaching license required (Elementary/ESL/Bilingual as applicable).
• Native-like fluency in English and Spanish would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional supports and English language development for ELs in general education settings.
• Coordinate with Multilingual Services and BRS to deliver inclusive instruction and family outreach.
• Administer WIDA Screener Online and ACCESS 2.0; monitor EL progress and provide scaffolds for assessments.
• Participate in MTSS/IEP meetings to support EL language development and placement decisions.
• Support EL data management and communication with families about MMSD EL services.
