Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental safety, occupational safety, or a related scientific field is required.
• Master's degree in health physics or industrial hygiene is often preferred.
• Experience with regulatory requirements for the state of employment and traveling to worksites is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routinely manage classroom and on-site safety training programs.
• Work with employees to ensure appropriate safety training for their roles.
• Investigate accidents and incidents involving safety, hazardous materials, and non-compliance.
• Recommend corrective actions to address procedural changes to prevent incidents.
• Lead incident response policy development, training, and implementation.
