Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and all coursework to obtain the appropriate teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
• Illinois State Board of Education issued educator license with a bilingual endorsement in the taught grade level.

Responsibilities

• Plan instruction and prepare lesson plans aligned with objectives and standards.
• Administer tests and language assessments to evaluate language ability of students.
• Maintain attendance records, classroom discipline, and student progress in bilingual program.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about academic progress and conduct.
• participate in professional meetings and school activities as required.
