• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or coursework in education preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English and the language representative of the targeted English Language Learners (ELLs) population(s).
• Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Capability to assist students with physical mobility and engage in activities that may require bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Provide bilingual instructional assistance in the classroom by preparing instructional materials and presenting classroom instruction.
• Perform clerical duties and assist with student supervision to enrich education delivery.
• Support development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) with teachers and parents.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and observations for reporting purposes.
• Participate in training and workshops to stay updated on best practices in education and student support.
• Primarily classroom-based duties with potential outdoor supervision during breaks.
