Qualifications

• Written and verbal fluency in English and the target language(s).
• Strong understanding of medical and educational terminology relevant to early intervention.
• Maintain current copies of required professional licenses, CPR, first aid, and health records.
• Ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation during early intervention sessions.
• Accurately convey spoken or signed language between English and the target language.
• Assist families in understanding the cultural context of EI services.
• Translate written documents as requested.
