Job summary

Mercor is hiring for a part-time, language-based role based in the Netherlands. You will write expert Dutch prompts and classify content to help improve safety for AI models. The position requires native NL Dutch and business English, a bachelor’s degree (or in progress), and keen attention to detail.

Compensation is $48–$52 per hour, with ~7 hours per week. No prior AI/ML experience is required as training will be provided.

About the role

We're hiring proficient bilingual speakers (English & Dutch) based in the Netherlands to help make advanced AI models safer. You'll apply your language fluency and cultural judgment to evaluate and strengthen how these models handle sensitive topics in Dutch as it is spoken in the Netherlands. No prior AI/ML experience is required — we'll train you on the workflow.

What we're looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands, plus business-level written English.
• Currently based in the Netherlands. This role covers the Netherlands variety of Dutch specifically; a separate role covers Belgian Dutch.
• A bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.
• Strong written reasoning and a high level of attention to detail.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
