Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use strategies to increase student performance on content-area assessments.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans with written preparation evidence.
• Prepare lessons accommodating individual differences.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional activities reflecting student needs and learning styles.
• Ensure high expectations and recognize student achievement.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed.
• Supervise instructional assistants and volunteers as required.
• Maintain open communication with students and parents.
• Utilize technology to support teaching and learning.
• Assess student progress with formal and informal tests.
