Job summary

Certerra is seeking a Dispatch & Fleet Coordinator in Hollywood, FL to manage scheduling and deployment of construction material testing technicians and the day-to-day coordination of the field vehicle fleet. You will ensure technicians reach sites on time in road-ready trucks, coordinating with directors, project managers, field staff, and vendors.

The role requires 2+ years of dispatch experience, fluent English and Spanish, and proficiency with scheduling software and fleet tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dispatch, scheduling, or operations coordination experience.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish required.
• Construction industry preferred.
• Strong command of multi-person, multi-site scheduling logistics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to manage competing priorities calmly.
• Proficiency with scheduling software, fleet management tools, spreadsheets, and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily and weekly field schedules for a team of materials testing technicians across multiple active project sites.
• Receive and process service requests; assign technicians based on availability, certification, location, and scope.
• Monitor real-time job progress; adjust schedules and relocate technicians in response to delays or urgent requests.
• Coordinate equipment availability and consumable supplies as part of dispatch activities.
• Assist administrative department on creating same-day work orders for technicians.
• Communicate with admin staff and field technicians to ensure report deliveries and closing out of work orders.
• Notify clients of schedule changes or delays.
• Monitor fleet availability and swap vehicles to prevent disruptions when a truck is down for maintenance or repair.
• Coordinate all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of company vehicles.
• Track and manage vehicle registration, insurance documentation across the fleet.
• Serve as first point of contact for breakdowns and roadside issues.
