Job Description

The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for driving new business sales, building customer rapport and trust, and growing their book of business within the market. Responsibilities include attracting new customers, cross-selling existing ones, and promoting products like Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance. The role involves selling to walk-in customers, marketing outside the office, and community engagement to foster growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Close sales of insurance and ancillary products.
• Meet/exceed sales goals via new sales, cross-selling, and retention.
• Use community contacts and local presence to build a sales pipeline.
• Initiate outbound calls to target customers.
• Monitor local competitors and suggest initiatives.
• Work with leadership on marketing and sales strategies.
• Achieve results across quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and compliance metrics.
• Stay current on company policies and underwriting guidelines.
• Handle customer payments and receipts.

Experience

• 0-2 years preferred.
