Job summary

Tornado Bus Company is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to perform thorough inspections and repairs on company vehicles. The role includes on-road rescue services, FMCSA compliance, and diagnosing complex engine and electrical systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of relevant experience, bilingual Spanish/English abilities, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Training beyond high school and ASE/CDL certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of job-related experience required.
• Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and overhauling of all diesel engines.
• Inspecting engines and detecting malfunctions; repairing and maintaining engine parts.
• Diagnosing check engine fault codes, aftertreatment systems, misfires, and A/C electrical issues.
• Disassemble and overhaul engines, pumps, transmissions, and related components.
• Perform road service calls with minimal supervision and in various conditions.
